ONEIL Names Scott McGohan as New Board Member
MIAMISBURG, OHIO, July 21, 2022 — ONEIL & Associates (ONEIL), an employee-owned company that develops technical publications, training and related materials, today announced Scott McGohan , CEO of McGohan Brabender , as its newest board member effective May 3.
“Scott’s work history, leadership experience and long-term vision integrate seamlessly to support ONEIL core values,” said Hernan Olivas, president and chief executive officer for ONEIL. “As CEO of an employee-owned firm, Scott recognizes the important role employees play in our business operations, and that intricate understanding is an asset to the board.”
McGohan will contribute decades of leadership insights. His work as CEO of McGohan Brabender, one of the largest privately held health insurance brokerage firms in the country, will help guide ONEIL as it celebrates 75 years of business. In addition to 35 years at McGohan Brabender, he is a published author, former TEDx speaker, and company culture expert skilled at vision casting, strategy alignment and leadership deployment.
McGohan is a staple in the Dayton community and actively helps to better the lives of others. Prevent Blindness recently honored McGohan and his firm with the 2022 People of Vision Award. He is also a current board member for the YMCA and Dayton Development Coalition, and is a past member of Crayons to Classrooms and Coastal Pets. McGohan is a coach, and both founder and mentor of Mentors Matters summer camp, a Dayton YMCA program serving inner city youth. He is also highly involved with Global Leadership Summit at SouthBrook Christian Church.

McGohan fills the board position of William Whistler, who was recently appointed chairman of the board.
