James A. Cardosi is Senior Director, Sales. In this role, his responsibilities include redefining and redirecting ONEIL’s 70+ year sales process focusing on driving strategic pursuit engagements that specifically align with the customer’s core initiatives and objectives in an effort to yield unprecedented ONEIL growth. In addition, he helps set strategy to drive strategic growth for ONEIL’s Commercial, Aerospace, and Defense business units. Under his direction, the sales organization positions ONEIL as a consultative partner who fully understands each customer’s value proposition, initiatives, and goals. This approach more effectively serves the customer’s needs, while also helping them increase their customer satisfaction/service target levels and meet their revenue objectives.
Prior to joining ONEIL, Cardosi held several senior-level sales management and sales leadership positions with companies ranging from technology start-ups to the Fortune 50, where his teams focused on sales pursuit programs targeting acquisition, business development, and strategic partnerships. He also founded and ran his own company, which developed specific training products aimed at sports performance improvement and sustainment while also creating and launching the associated and supportive sales and marketing campaigns, for the better part of 10 years.
Cardosi earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with concentrations in Mathematics, Communications, and Entrepreneurialism, from Columbia College after attending Illinois State University for 3 years on a golf scholarship, where he also studied Business.
Cardosi holds eight individual patents. As such, he was recognized for best new innovation and awarded the “Product of the Year,” as well as the “Best Consolidated DRTV Campaign” at the largest annual sports industry trade show in the early 2000’s. In addition, growing up in the Chicago area, he competed in, and won, multiple amateur golf tournaments; once considering a career at the professional ranks.
