Our technical writers, illustrators, provisioning specialists/catalogers, programmers, and Internet developers have diverse backgrounds as well as a wide variety of skill-sets and experience.
O'Neil & Associates is fortunate to have a talented group of technical writers and technical illustrators on staff. We are always looking to supplement both staffs with qualified individuals.
Some of our current writers had little or no experience writing manuals before joining us, but were very familiar with using them or working on complex mechanical or electronic systems. For instance, some of our writers were formerly:
- Technicians or Mechanics in the Army, Air Force, Navy, or Marines
- Automobile Mechanics
- Parts Department Personnel
- Heavy Equipment Operators
Some of these associates earned technical writing certificates while completing their bachelor's or associate's degree. Others come from an engineering education background. We employ a number of degreed engineers.
Our associates typically work from source information supplied by our customer. They use this data, as well as having access to customer equipment and engineers, to produce world-class interactive electronic technical manuals (IETMs), Internet information systems, and training materials.
Our Technology Group is a talented group of individuals that have formed a very cohesive and important team at O'Neil & Associates. They share a love of technology and are skilled problem solvers.
This extremely diverse group consists of application engineers, database engineers, GUI developers, Web application developers, software engineers, and systems analysts and features graduates from colleges and universities across the United States and abroad.
