To create this system, O'Neil has selected the Panasonic Toughbook™ CF-29 to provide a ruggedized, field-ready computer that is Mil-Std-810F compliant. Also partnered with O'Neil is Smartronix, Inc. to provide system integration and use of their Stress Relief™ product to protect the PC-MCIA cards.
The O’Neil ONeTOOL® combines the viewing of Electronic Technical Manuals (ETMs) and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), Computer-Based Training (CBT), and Built-In Test Equipment (BIT/BITE) into a single, unrivaled field-support tool. The ONeTOOL uses the output of the BIT/BITE and diagnostic processes from failing equipment and feeds the information into a durable, reliable, and field-ready personal computer. The system determines equipment defects and then guides the operator through the necessary steps to repair or replace failing parts. Downtime is reduced and mission-critical equipment is put right back where it belongs – available.

ONeTOOL is available in three base configurations with various options to meet your specific maintenance needs:
- ONeTOOL-MC: Designed for U.S. Army and USMC diagnostics and troubleshooting. With just a few exceptions, this tool is all you need to diagnose an electronic failure on just about any vehicle or weapons platform. It has all the interfaces, cables, and converters to communicate with on-board devices (electronic control units - ECUs) and a built-in digital multimeter and oscilloscope for additional tests.
- ONeTOOL-DC: Designed as an "expert" maintenance aid and diagnostic collector. This unit can read and interpret faults and perform intrusive tests from a long list of vehicle ECUs.
- ONeTOOL-CA: Designed for aerospace and communications applications, this configuration contains an oscilloscope and Mil-Std-1553 interface.
