Harley-Davidson needed to provide their dealers with a tool that would help them sell more bikes. One problem they had was that they did not know three important facts:

  1. What the customer's real purpose is for buying a bike.
  2. Who the competition was for a specific Harley bike.
  3. All the specifications for all the bikes and the marketing position for each model.

We developed a software application that addressed all of those issues with an easy navigation interface and an extensive database filled with information, such as white papers, safety updates, videos, marketing tips and features, and benefits.

The first section is called "Let's See the Harleys." This shows the complete line of Harley models with all the specs and pertinent information. This then can be linked to the next section called "Bike to Bike Comparison" that can take that model or any Harley and compare it to any other motorcycle sold in North America…spec to spec. The real question to ask a customer about what bike he/she should buy is found in the section "Which Bike's for Me?" Through a series of 8 questions about life style and riding preferences, the potential customer will be shown the top 10 bikes that would best fit his/her needs.

This application will also log the customer's information that can be retrieved by the salesperson for future mailing or contact. Also included is a glossary of terms and Harley-Davidson history.
