Online Dealer Accounting Manual
O'Neil was selected as its vendor of choice to convert the paper-based Dealer Accounting Manual into an online manual. This manual was developed to allow for more accurate and up-to-date accounting information not available with printed copy. In addition, the online manual increased the speed and efficiency of dealership accounting and business management practices. The manual was first online in 1999.
This online manual includes a "Comments" form to allow dealers to communicate their accounting questions directly to Ford Motor Company. O'Neil is the intermediator for this function. Other functions include a Glossary of Terms and a Financial Statement Preparation section which links to the appropriate account information.
