In October, 2003, O'Neil & Associates was asked by Rolls-Royce, Indianapolis, IN to help them reduce the number of backlogged publication changes, which at that time numbered in the thousands. Three other companies were already processing this work. This enabled Rolls-Royce to evaluate cost, quality, and turnaround time. By September 2004, O'Neil & Associates was the only vendor left working for Rolls-Royce. In October 2004, another vendor was brought in for evaluation. By March 2005, once again, O'Neil & Associates was the only vendor left working on the project.
In the 18 months we have been working with Rolls-Royce, the backlog of publication changes have been reduced from thousands to less than 100. The backlog is expected to be reduced to zero by June 2005. The success is due to the good communication and working relationships we have developed with Rolls-Royce management.
