“While both challenging and rewarding, working at O’Neil and Associates has allowed me to continue working in Aerospace and to make a difference with maintenance manuals of the future.”– P. S., Technical Writer II

Information Systems and Helpdesk

This group performs installation, troubleshooting, configuration, and repair of network equipment, such as servers, switches, PCs, printers, and other peripherals. Members assist in providing technical solutions to end users, address problems related to network services, and handle all end user support requests. All company IT-related solutions are implemented by this group.

Basic skills that we look for are general Microsoft OS knowledge, general knowledge of network services and protocols, and a strong desire to learn. Higher- level positions require college degrees or certifications from vendors, such as Microsoft and Cisco. Evening and weekend work availability may be required during major projects or planned upgrades.

The technology utilized at O’Neil is far greater than one would expect from a company our size. IT team members state that exposure to high-end or newer technology is an enjoyable and rewarding aspect of the job.
